Marc Hébrart Champagne Premier Cru Extra Brut Rosé NV

Marc Hébrart’s Rosé has long been one of the best buys in the grower Champagne category, and the new Extra Brut version is sensational and these are the last bottles we have to offer at this low pricing. Jean-Paul Hébrart, son of Marc Hébrart and the current winemaker, recently introduced this Extra Brut Rosé, using the same blend as the Brut Rosé (57% Chardonnay and 43% Pinot Noir, with 7% still red wine) but with a significantly lower dosage of around 3.5g/L. This reduction highlights the wine’s beautiful mineral profile and vineyard-driven character, something fans of the house will appreciate. Jean-Paul has been gradually transitioning many of his cuvées to Extra Brut, a welcome evolution that emphasizes the purity of fruit and transparency of terroir. We recently sampled the wine and were impressed by its energy, precision, and perfect balance. Vinified in stainless steel and aged 24 months on the lees, these bottles were just disgorged earlier this year. Pale salmon in color, the Marc Hébrart Extra Brut Rosé opens with precise aromas of crushed red berries, citrus peel, and wet stone. The palate is racy and vibrant, showing wild strawberry, blood orange, and chalky minerality, framed by a razor-sharp acidity and a beautifully dry, lingering finish. Exceptionally pure and terroir-driven. The Extra Brut Rosé is a stunning grower Champagne and a must-have for Hébrart fans! Don't miss it!
